Job summary

Spindle is seeking Special Education Teachers to support an Elementary School Needs (ESN) caseload for 4th through 6th grades near Richmond, CA. The contract position is full‑time with an immediate start through the end of the school year, covering a 3537.5 hour per year schedule.

Four positions are available for educators passionate about inclusive learning. Credential required: California ESN or Moderate/Severe.

Qualifications

• Active California ESN or Moderate/Severe credential is required.
• Recent, relevant experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting.
• Ability to deliver differentiated instruction and foster a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Strong collaboration with general education teachers, related services providers, and families.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt plans as student needs evolve.
• Willingness to provide a screenshot of your current CTC credential status.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction to 4th–6th graders within the ESN program.
• Develop and implement IEPs.
• Monitor progress toward students' academic and behavioral goals.
• Communicate with parents and support teams.
• Create a supportive and structured classroom environment.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to program reviews.
