CT Technologists are responsible for:

1. Explaining radiographic procedures to patients and collecting accurate patient history.
2. Performing clinical diagnostic examinations, including necessary room preparation.
3. Properly entering patient and exam data into the Radiology Information System.
4. Operating CT equipment under the direction of the Radiologist to produce diagnostic and interventional CT images.

Qualifications include:

• 1-3 months of experience and/or training required.
• Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
• ARRT certification required.
