Washington Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Argyle, NY seeks a full-time Activities Aide CNA. You will create and lead activity programs, tailor activities to residents' interests, and work with care teams to support daily life.

Requirements include a valid NY CNA license, experience in healthcare activities or recreation therapy, and strong computer, organizational, and teamwork skills. Geriatric experience preferred; energetic and compassionate applicants welcomed.

Formación

• Must have a valid NY CNA license.
• Experience with activities in a healthcare setting or college work in recreation therapy.
• Previous experience with the geriatric population preferred.
• Strong computer skills necessary.
• Positive attitude and energy is a must!!
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Strong organizational and planning skills; ability to multitask.

Responsabilidades

• Implement activity programs tailored to residents' interests.
• Work directly with residents on units without direct supervision.
• Organize and obtain supplies and equipment as requested.
• Assist recreation specialists and set up program areas.
• Keep daily attendance and document residents’ participation.
• Assist residents in programming the location and return residents to the appropriate units.
• Be familiar with established emergency procedures.
