Job summary

AMR is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for a full-time role responding to emergency and non-emergency medical requests. You will deliver high-quality care, document patient information, and work with public safety personnel to ensure safe transport. A valid EMT license, BLS, NREMT, state driver’s license, and a suitable driving record are required.

GED or high school diploma is required. Candidates with healthcare experience will thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State EMT license is required.
• State driver’s license is required.
• BLS and NREMT certification are required.
• Driving record must comply with company policy.
• Pass a Physical Agility Test is required.
• Some healthcare work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and provide appropriate emergency care using EMT techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Operate EMS equipment and vehicles in compliance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image and relations.
