Job summary

Qualifications

• State Driver's License required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR card preferred.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Respond to operation and dispatch requests and use maps to transport customers to and from facilities in a timely manner.
• Document trip information details and adhere to company policies while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe and clean vehicle environment, complete the regular mechanical checklist at the start of shifts and report any vehicle issues to the Fleet Manager.
• Use standard radio transmission codes to respond and route patients and comply with information security standards.
• Operate transportation equipment including stretcher, hydraulic lift, wheelchair and manage PPE/disposal of supplies as necessary.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow drivers and operations team.
