Qualifications

• Must hold a Licensed Master’s School Social Worker credential per R340.1792 and R340.1799f.
• Bachelor of Social Work candidates may apply if pursuing MSW.
• Full approval for Michigan School Social Workers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' social/emotional skills and determine eligibility for interventions.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and modify intervention plans based on behavior data.
• Complete IEP, MET, and Behavior Plans (FBAs).
• Prepare written interpretation reports and communicate results to parents/IEP teams.
• Maintain confidentiality and Medicaid documentation per standards.
• Coordinate community agency supports for students and families.
• Lead evaluations for autism and emotional impairment eligibility.
