TLCA – TEXAS LEADERS CHARTER ACADEMY seeks a School Nurse (RN) for the Abilene campus. The role reports to the Campus Principal and requires exempt status as a full-time position.

The nurse will provide health services to students and staff, manage immunization records, deliver health education, and collaborate with physicians, parents, and the school community to support student wellness.

Qualifications

• Exceptional organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of implementing policies and procedures.
• Valid RN license to practice professional nursing in Texas.
• Certification to conduct vision and hearing screenings.

Responsabilités

• Provide medical care to students and staff per charter policy.
• Act as health mentor for students and staff.
• Contact parents or guardians in cases of accident or illness.
• Administer student medications per policy and laws.
• Plan and implement ongoing evaluation of the charter health program.
• Draft TLPS health education curriculum and teach health education.
