Responsibilities

• Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to students’ maturity and interests.
• Prepare lessons with accommodations for individual differences.
• Prepare for classes and show written evidence of preparation upon request.
• Encourage students to set and maintain classroom behavior standards.
• Maintain accurate records and manage gradebooks in a timely manner.
• Attend staff meetings and participate on staff committees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
