Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate with Visual Arts endorsement (LQ or LX) K-12.
• Experience working with early elementary students.
• Must show evidence of Highly Qualified status as defined by NCLB during interview.

Responsibilities

• Teach district approved curriculum.
• Develop lessons and instructional material for individualized and small group instruction.
• Communicate regularly with parents through newsletters, notes, calls, conferences.
• Evaluate pupil progress and maintain records.
• Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Position is full-time and on-site with expected attendance.
