Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.
• One year general experience with children.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Tier 1 background investigation required.
• Civilian Medical Clearance required every two years.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute age-appropriate early childhood activities.
• Assist in developing and implementing curriculum with staff.
• Promote positive interactions among children, youth and adults.
• Assist in maintaining participation data and required daily reports.
• Prepare and maintain indoor/outdoor activity areas and materials.
• Supervise children in classrooms, playgrounds, and other areas.
• Assist with snacks/meals as applicable.
• Ensure safety and well-being of children at all times.
