Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring in Columbus, OH for a full-time Teacher role in infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. You will create engaging activities, communicate progress with families, and maintain a safe, structured classroom environment following Bright Horizons policies.

Candidates must meet state and company background checks and education requirements; 1 year teaching experience is preferred and knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice is required.

Qualifications

• Background checks required by state and company.
• 18+ with HS diploma or GED.
• College coursework in early childhood education or CDA preferred; associate/bachelor's in related field preferred.
• 1 year teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities meeting children’s needs and interests.
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones.
• Keep classroom safe and clean by following procedures and guidelines.
• Fulfill mandated reporter requirements as defined by state agency and inform director.
