Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is now hiring Full‑time Durability Dynamometer Technicians for an automotive Tier 1 supplier. We are seeking hard‑working, motivated and dedicated technicians with automotive mechanical experience to set up and operate an engine durability test cell. The Durability Dynamometer Technician is responsible for engine set‑up, test instrumentation, monitoring the test while the engine is running, performing regular engine health checks, and removal of the engine after test completion.
Shift Schedule
- Must be able to work 7 days a week, as needed
- Must be able to work 12‑hour shifts, as needed
- Afternoon shift 4:00 pm – 12:00 am (Monday – Friday + overtime & weekends as needed)
- Overnight shift 12:00 am – 8:00 am (Monday – Friday + overtime & weekends as needed)

Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of automotive mechanical related experience
- Must have excellent engine mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
- Must be proficient with computers, including MS Office applications and dynamometer controls operation experience
- Must have own tools and a rolling toolbox
- Must be willing to learn and able to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must be flexible, eager to learn and have a strong attention to detail
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and customer service skills
Preferred Skills
- Associate degree or technical training in an automotive related field
- Engine teardown/build skills and able to follow an engine assembly manual
- Able to perform simple fabrications
- Experience or training with AVL PUMA 2.0 and/or A & D iTest dynamometer controls
