Job summary

ARC GLOW in Corfu, NY seeks Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide daily care for adults with developmental disabilities. You’ll assist with daily living, plan activities, document data, and may transport participants as needed.

Positions include full-time, part-time, and per diem. Paid training, meal prep, and teamwork are emphasized; you’ll join a values-driven organization committed to respect, integrity, and excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or equivalent required.
• Valid NYS driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Willingness to learn new skills (we provide paid training).

Responsibilities

• Provides daily care to the people we support with developmental, intellectual and/or physical disabilities.
• Assists and encourages the people we support to care for immediate personal needs.
• Assists with planning daily activities and participates in the activities in small groups.
• Documents all program data accurately and timely.
• Provide transportation as needed with agency vehicles.
• Use various software platforms for specific job functions.
• All full time DSP's in the residential program will be required to obtain and maintain medication certification.
• Meal preparation.
• Working in a team environment.
• Has a drive to help others with their personal goals
