Job summary

Penn-Mar Human Services in Manchester, MD is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide compassionate, person-centered care in residential and community settings. The role includes light housekeeping, personal care, transportation to appointments, and helping individuals with daily activities.

You will join a supportive team, receive extensive paid training and access to career ladders, with starting pay rates around $19.85 to $20.35 per hour plus paid vacation, holidays and benefits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with 2 years of driving and fewer than 3 moving violations in 36 months.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background, physical, TB, and drug screenings.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as needed.

A Direct Support Professional (Also known as DSP, Residential Assistant, Caregiver, Home Health Aide, CNA) is responsible for:

• Light housework: cooking, meal prep, cleaning
