Job description

Join to apply for the Full-Time Driver (Manheim) role at Cox Enterprises.

This position is responsible for the safe moving, staging, and parking of vehicles on Auction property, driving vehicles to and from Auction lots and customer businesses, and driving vehicles through Auction sale lanes on designated sale days in compliance with safety rules and regulations.

Work Schedule

Tuesday - Saturday, 8 am - 4:30 pm

Sign-on Bonus: $1000.00 ($500 after 30 days and $500 after 120 days)

Job Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day safely.
• Transport vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises, customer dealerships, and businesses, observing all driving rules and demonstrating courtesy and defensive driving.
• Line up and park vehicles in correct order as directed, move vehicles as needed, and locate "lost" vehicles.
• Assist with vehicle operations, including inflating tires and jump-starting vehicles if necessary. Notify supervisor of inoperative vehicles or those out of gas.
• Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
• Follow all safety and health procedures, actively participate in safety activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned. May require overtime.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Ability to enter/exit vehicles frequently, sit for prolonged periods, and drive both standard and automatic transmissions.
• Ability to walk long distances, stand, reach, talk, hear, and perform physical tasks like stooping, kneeling, and lifting 1-15 pounds.
• Vision abilities including close, distance, color, and depth perception.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent, previous auction experience.

Work Environment

Frequent outdoor weather exposure, moderate noise level.

Compensation

$15.27/hour, with potential additional compensation via commissions or incentives.
