Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Sacramento Valley & Northern Nevada, Inc. is seeking a Driver Helper to support the loading and unloading of donated goods and assist the Driver with truck tasks.

This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Transportation Manager and emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliable transportation. Responsibilities include assisting with handling goods, aiding in truck loading, and following all policies and regulations while supporting efficient store shipments and salvage

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass drug and background screening.
• Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading donated goods and placement into containers.
• Help load/unload trucks and trailers for shipments, salvage and store runs.
• Assist drivers with navigation and monitor safety hazards.
• Follow Goodwill policies and safety regulations; perform other duties as assigned.
