Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts, part of the National Veterinary Associates family, seeks a Full-Time Dog Daycare Attendant in a fast-paced, dog-centered environment. You will supervise pack play, monitor behavior, and ensure safe, enriching experiences for dogs while staying active and alert throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include documenting observations, communicating with leadership, and maintaining cleanliness in play areas.

Qualifications

• Experience or willingness to learn about dog behavior and pack dynamics.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Comfort working weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand for long periods and be physically active.

Responsibilities

• Supervise group play sessions with multiple dogs.
• Monitor body language and prevent conflicts.
• Redirect inappropriate behavior calmly and confidently.
• Separate dogs when needed.
• Walk dogs to and from play areas.
• Clean and sanitize play yards during shift.
• Monitor health and report concerns immediately.
• Document playgroup notes and behavior observations.
• Communicate updates to leadership and occasionally to pet parents.
