Job summary

Queen of Peace Residence in Enfield, CT is seeking a reliable Full-Time Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the dishwashing and prep areas, washing dishes, utensils, and cookware efficiently and thoroughly.

Candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using a dishwasher or by hand.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and counters.
• Sort and properly store clean dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and cleaning tasks as needed.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
