Job summary

The Oaks Club in Florida is seeking a reliable Full-Time Dishwasher to support our Kitchen team. This role helps maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment while supporting our culinary staff in delivering exceptional service to our members.

Responsibilities include washing, sanitizing, and properly storing dishes and utensils; keeping the dish area and floors clean; following all health and safety guidelines; and assisting during service and closing procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to take direction.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, kitchen floors, and trash/recycling areas.
• Assist with basic kitchen cleaning duties, including wiping down surfaces and equipment.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
• Safely operate dishwashing equipment and properly handle cleaning chemicals.
• Support kitchen staff as needed during service and closing procedures.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times.
