Job summary

Lifetime Assistance is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Hamlin, NY to assist individuals with daily living and community participation. This full-time residential role offers days/evenings, on-site work, and a starting wage of $21.55 per hour.

You will provide personal care, support independence, document progress, and coordinate with the Residential Services team. Training is provided, with a $1,000 welcome bonus, health coverage options, and tuition assistance as part of our

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; willingness to learn.
• Must meet Vehicle Operator requirements (except overnight/relief shifts).
• First Aid/CPR, SCIP-R, and Medication Administration certification (or ability to obtain).
• Background checks and clearances (SCR, Fingerprinting, SEL, MHL) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Support individuals in developing independence and social skills.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being, including medication administration if certified.
• Document progress on individualized service plans and daily supports.
• Encourage community integration and participation in activities.
• Drive agency vehicles for transportation as needed.
• Maintain positive communication with individuals, families, and colleagues.
• Complete required training and ongoing professional development.
