Job summary

Lifetime Assistance, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide residential support in Hamlin, NY. This part-time role includes evenings and weekend shifts with a starting wage of $21.55 per hour.

Responsibilities include personal care, skill development, safety, and documentation. Training is provided, and opportunities for advancement exist within a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• First Aid/CPR, SCIP-R, and Medication Administration certification (or ability to obtain).
• Must meet Vehicle Operator requirements (except overnight/relief shifts).
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy for documentation in the EHR.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Support individuals in developing independence and social skills.
• Ensure health and safety, including medication administration if certified.
• Implement and document progress on individualized service plans.
• Encourage community integration and participation in activities.
• Drive agency vehicles for transportation as needed.
• Maintain professional communication with individuals, families, and colleagues.
• Complete required training and certifications.
