Job summary

Richcroft, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands-on care for an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a personal home setting in Baltimore County, MD.

The role is scheduled for 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with morning and evening shifts aligned to the individual's schedule. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, disability coverage, holidays, and opportunities for

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license with less than 3 points.
Must be able to transport people in a wheelchair accessible van.
Requires use of personal cell phone for documentation and time keeping.
Some lifting and transferring may be required.

Responsibilities

Assist with participation and exploration of the community.
Cultivate and expand independent living skills.
Provide assistance with personal hygiene, activities, outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.
Assist with development of meaningful and personal relationships.
Complete required documentation (e.g., incident reports, progress notes, behavior data, fire drills).
Some assistance with personal care as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
