Progressive Directions, Inc. is hiring a compassionate and dependable Full-Time Direct Support Professional for an overnight position in Centerville, Tennessee. The DSP provides person-centered support and promotes safety, independence, and dignity.

The role includes completing safety checks, assisting with daily living activities, and transporting participants as needed. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour with full-time overnight schedule and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
• Able to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Willing to work overnight and stay awake during shift.
• Patient, respectful, supportive approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, person-centered support based on each person’s needs and goals.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities, as needed.
• Support evening and overnight routines.
• Complete required safety checks and provide supervision throughout the shift.
• Assist with meal preparation, household routines, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Provide transportation as assigned.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow PDI policies, training requirements, and health and safety procedures.
• Protect the rights, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality of the people supported.

Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

What We’re Looking For

Previous caregiving or direct support experience is helpful, but it is not required. PDI provides required paid training.
