Job description

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord, and medically complex injuries, illnesses, and other challenges. In various locations and community-based settings, we offer programs including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members, and Veterans.

Caregiver (Full-Time)

Pay starting at $16.25/hr
+$.50 (1-4 years experience)
+ $1.00 (5+ years experience)

Preliminary Requirements

• Proof of one year of non-probationary Driver's License Required
• Must be able to attend orientation held M-F, 9am-4pm

Responsibilities for Caregiver:

• Assist with bathing, toileting, and hygiene
• Transport participants to appointments
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Wheelchair assistance and transportation
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Ensure overall safety and wellbeing of clients
• Proper lifting and bending to support clients

Qualifications required for Caregiver position:

• High school diploma or GED
• Six months to one year of experience in human services
• Valid non-probationary driver's license with no restrictions
• Minimum age of 18
• Successful background check clearance
• A caring attitude and dedication to helping others
• Ability and willingness to properly bend and lift to support clients
