Avesta Housing is seeking enthusiastic, hardworking individuals to work within our dining room and serve residents as a Waitstaff at 75 State Street in Portland, Maine. This is a full-time, 32–40 hour per week position with a schedule from 7:00am to 2:00pm.

The starting pay range is $17.00 - $18.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package awaits the right candidate, including health plans, retirement options, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must meet facility and state immunization requirements.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team under supervision.
• Remain calm under pressure during busy times.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of working in a kitchen or dining atmosphere preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve residents in the dining room with accuracy and courtesy.
• Take and deliver meal orders to residents and guests.
• Assist with setup, serving, and cleanup in the dining area.
