Job summary

Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich is seeking Dietary Aides to join our team as Dining Services Assistants. The full-time role offers competitive hourly wages with weekly pay, and a shift mix of 6:30a-2:30p and 12p-8p.

You will follow therapeutic diet cards, ensure proper serving temperatures, deliver meals on time, and maintain the visual appeal of food while adhering to sanitation and nutrition guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Able to follow oral and written communication.
• Maintain the appearance of dining service areas and care of supplies.

Responsibilities

• Follow therapeutic diet cards as ordered by the physician.
• Ensure proper serving temperature of food and beverages.
• Deliver meals on a timely basis.
• Maintain visual appeal of food and emphasize garnishes.
• Adhere to daily nourishment lists and stock nourishment stations.
• Assist the cook in monitoring meal serving times.
• Adhere to sanitation and storage policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by the dining director.
