Job summary

Solis Mammography in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Diagnostic Breast Sonographer to operate ultrasound equipment, obtain high-quality images and measurements, and communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.

The role requires ARDMS certification and a graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, with proficiency in RIS/PACS and medical terminology. Full-time schedule, supportive team, and focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program accredited by the CAAHEP.
• Active ARDMS certification; CME requirements kept current.
• Ability to explain procedures to patients and educate on breast health.
• Strong reading/writing and medical terminology skills.
• Able to operate and document in RIS/PACS systems.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality ultrasound images and measurements for each exam.
• Document patient and procedure data accurately in tracking systems.
• Explain procedures to patients to maximize comfort and cooperation.
• Assist radiologists during ultrasound biopsy procedures with sterile technique.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment cleanliness and safety.
• Foster a collaborative relationship with Radiologists and center staff.
