Job summary

Solis Mammography is seeking a Diagnostic Breast Sonographer in Denton, TX. The role focuses on performing diagnostic ultrasound exams, obtaining accurate measurements, and communicating results clearly to radiologists and patients.

Candidates must be ARDMS-certified and CME-compliant. The position offers full-time hours, patient-focused care, and opportunities to train in bone density as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Active ARDMS certification and CME compliance.
• Ability to educate patients about mammography and procedures.
• Reading, writing and understanding medical terminology; communicate with doctors and staff.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality ultrasound images and obtain measurements for each exam.
• Document patient and procedure data consistently and correctly.
• Explain procedures to patients to maximize comfort and cooperation.
• Assist and/or chaperone radiologists during ultrasound exams.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment for cleanliness and safety.
• Communicate patient information professionally to patients and referring physicians.
