As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in connecting development and operations by driving automation across the entire software and infrastructure lifecycle. You’ll take ownership of infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD, deployments, cloud platforms, monitoring, and observability while helping teams deliver secure, reliable, and scalable services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Datadog.
- Integrate DevSecOps practices into development pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
- Improve application and infrastructure reliability through automation and proactive monitoring.
- Support high-availability architectures, disaster recovery strategies, and cloud cost optimization initiatives.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, lead incident response activities, and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical and architectural decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, deployment processes, system performance, and operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3–6 years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related role.
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Extensive experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python or Bash.
- Experience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking and security fundamentals.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional engineering and operations teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS, Azure, or GCP DevOps/cloud certifications.
- Experience with GitOps technologies such as Argo CD or Flux.
- Exposure to AIOps, predictive automation, or intelligent infrastructure management.
- Previous experience mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership.
- Experience working in highly available, production-scale cloud environments.
