Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join a supportive, mentorship-rich team. You will provide preventative care, patient education, and comprehensive dental hygiene services in a busy practice.

We offer a robust mentor program, ongoing training, and a competitive benefits package. Minnesota license required; experience with modern hygiene tools and EMR systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota dental hygiene license.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene.
• Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners and digital x‑ray equipment.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records systems (EMR).
• Strong patient communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative dental hygiene care and patient education.
• Perform dental hygiene procedures and screenings.
• Document medical histories and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Participate in training and mentorship programs to advance clinical skills.
• Maintain TB testing requirements as per clinical policy.
