Job summary

Lake Ridge Dental Care, a Heartland Dental-supported practice in Minnesota, is seeking a full-time or part-time Dental Hygienist to join our patient-focused team. You’ll deliver preventive care, educate patients, and work with a supportive network of mentors and resources to enhance your clinical skills.

We offer a $10,000 sign-on for full-time and $5,000 for part-time, plus benefits, mentorship, and a stable, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota dental hygienist license and degree in dental hygiene.
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and hygiene procedures.
• CPR certification and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive dental care and education to patients.
• Perform dental hygiene procedures as scheduled.
• Maintain patient records and radiographs.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality care.

Lake Ridge Dental Care is looking for a Full Time and Part Time Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Minnesota and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experienced and New Grads welcome to apply
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
