Job summary

Family Dental Center in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join a patient-centered practice with state-of-the-art equipment and a friendly team. The ideal candidate will have an SD RDH license, an associate degree in dental hygiene, and a positive, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Current SD RDH license required.
• Associate degree in dental hygiene required.
• Experience with Dentrix is a plus (not required).

Responsibilities

• Provide dental prophylaxis and oral cancer screening.
• Take radiographs and chart conditions of decay and disease.
• Educate patients about oral health and treatment options.
• Perform procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Job description

Due to continued growth, we have an excellent opportunity for a Full-time Dental Hygienist. Promotes dental health by completing dental prophylaxis, providing oral cancer screening and radiographic studies, charting conditions of decay and disease, providing patient education regarding their oral health, and performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Dental Hygienist Skills

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental clinic, operating Dentrix software or knowledge of dental software (Not required but a bonus!), and have a current RDH license in SD.
