Smile Dental Care in New Jersey is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant to deliver patient-focused care with empathy and professionalism. The ideal candidate supports the dentist during procedures, prepares exam rooms, sterilizes instruments, and takes X-rays.

A valid X-Ray license is required. We offer a competitive hourly wage of $24–$28 with a $1,000 sign-on bonus, paid vacation, holidays, 401k with matching, and comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.

• 1–2 years of dental assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ready equipment.
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Take and process dental X-rays.
• Perform lab tasks as instructed.
• Greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and assisting with payments.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Provide oral hygiene guidance to patients.
• Handle general administrative duties.
