Job summary

Crown Health Care Laundry Services, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver Helper in Maumelle, AR to support Service Drivers by delivering premium health care linen to customers. You will assist with loading, unloading, and coordination of routes while maintaining cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.

The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and adherence to quality standards. Training and a team-oriented environment are provided to ensure efficient daily routes.

Qualifications

• The ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without an accommodation.
• Ability to accurately count and record data either by writing or computer input.
• Self motivated - doesn't always need to be told what to do.
• Solid work ethic.
• Walking, pulling, pushing, sorting and lifting continuously.
• Heavy work - transporting up to 100 lbs. of health care linen occasionally and/or in excess of 50 lbs. of linen frequently.
• Frequent walking during working hours.
• Frequent lifting of up to 20 pounds.
• Frequent reaching, bending, stooping and twisting.
• Frequent pushing of a cart that may weigh 500 pounds.
• Occasional sitting and working at a computer, or attending meetings.

Responsibilities

• Load the delivery truck by pushing the weighed carts onto the back of the appropriate truck as required.
• Loading & Unloading Linen to Customers
• Retrieve soiled linen from hospitals and nursing care facilities, and help transport clean linen to customers.
• Assist in keeping the vehicle clean and organized.
• Adhere to HLAC quality standards.
• Under Fleet Manager supervision, complete other duties as assigned.
• Treat all staff at customer facilities with respect per Crown standards.
