Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Ohio is seeking a full-time delivery driver to transport products from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. You will ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to customers, while upholding safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include loading orders, following routes and schedules, handling paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a DOT-licensed medical examiner or be willing to obtain one within five business days of conditional offer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently for Reports and records.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements efficiently.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck.
• Ensure appropriate forms are completed.
• Load, transport, and deliver items safely and timely.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints.
• Adhere to routes and time schedules.
• Follow transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
