Job summary

QIC Corporation is seeking a FedEx Pick-up & Delivery Driver in the Olathe, KS area for a full-time daytime shift. Expect weekend work with the possibility of a 1-5 day workweek, safety-focused duties, and self-initiative in a fast-paced setting.

The role includes driving a FedEx truck, handling packages up to 150 lbs with dollies when needed, and complying with DOT regulations while ensuring timely deliveries. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid, non-expired Driver's License.
• No CDL necessary.
• FMCSA requires English proficiency to converse with the public and read highway signs.
• No DUIs.
• Requires initiative with fast-moving feet and safety as #1.
• Daytime shift only.
• Paid Training.
• Must pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical; all expenses paid by employer.
• Experience welcomed but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages to businesses and residential homes in the Western Shawnee & Lenexa area.
• Drive a FedEx vehicle and follow safety & DOT regulations.
• Start day at driver hub around 7:30–8:00 am; perform pre-trip inspection; load truck efficiently.
• Complete deliveries; assist with large packages up to 150 lbs when needed.
• Routes planned to finish by 5:00–5:30 pm; home for dinner; no micromanagement.
