Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking a Daycare Teacher to join the Child Development Center, caring for children ages 0-6. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• <2 years of experience is typical for this role.
• CPR certification is preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Builds positive relationships with the team and completes clock hour training.
• Communicates with children in a warm, nurturing manner and documents daily activities; maintains portfolios.
• Assists in providing a child-centered learning environment by organizing centers and supplying activities and materials.
• Encourages healthy social-emotional development through positive guidance and modeling responsibility.
