Eventide Prairie Commons in Grand Island, NE is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Day shift (6a-6:30p) with every third weekend and holiday rotation. The Charge Nurse oversees nursing care per policy and state/federal guidelines.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have RN or LPN certification, and possess CPR. 6 months experience preferred; licenses must be in good standing and up to date per Eventide vaccination requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN or LPN license in good standing
• CPR certification required
• At least 6 months of RN/LPN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administers, documents, and monitors medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
• Assesses residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial status; reports changes promptly
• Records vital signs and updates medical records accurately and timely
• Supervises Med Aides in medication delivery and reinforces the care plan
• Provides education to residents and caregivers for self-administration when appropriate
• Develops and updates a comprehensive nursing care plan as patient needs change
