Lake Prince Woods, a premier retirement community in Suffolk, VA, is seeking a compassionate Registered Medication Aide (RMA) to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team. The role involves administering medications and supporting residents under LPN supervision, with a 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) months of experience in basic nursing assistant procedures preferred.
• Successful completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program and competency evaluation.
• Current Medication Aide certification
• Must be in good standing with no allegations of abuse or neglect.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Accurately document medication administration and resident observations.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Ensure resident safety, comfort, and dignity at all times.
• Follow physician orders and individualized care plans.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, state regulations, and industry standards.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.
