Job summary

McLaren Health Care's Lake Orion Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for full-time day shifts from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. You will provide vital health care under a nurse's direction and assist residents with daily activities, playing a key support role.

Responsibilities include helping residents with bathing, dressing, mobility, and eating, while reviewing dietary needs and preferences. Weekend work is required; on-call is not indicated.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.
• Ability to assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with day-to-day tasks and personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers).
• Turn and reposition bedridden residents to prevent complications.
• Monitor and support residents' diets, reviewing restrictions and preferences.
• Deliver compassionate support to residents and families; perform related duties as assigned.
