Job summary

Harrington Park Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated full-time housekeeper for day shifts. You will perform routine cleaning, floor care, and room sanitation to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, following infection control guidelines, and reporting equipment or supply needs to supervisors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• Understands basic cleaning principles and safety related to handling chemicals.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and maintain tile floors; follow center procedures.
• Report needed carpet cleaning or spot removal to supervisor.
• Clean patient rooms and surfaces; move furniture as needed for cleaning.
• Empty trash, clean bathrooms and glass surfaces.
• Follow infection control standards and use isolation techniques as required.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; ensure safe operation and storage.
