Job Summary:
The Full-Time MarketStore Sales Associate (Cashier) is responsible for quick, efficient, and accurate checkout of customers. They must treat every customer as a guest, delivering outstanding service with enthusiasm and a smile. The role involves face-to-face interaction with guests, maintaining a strict dress code, and complying with employment and legal requirements, including a state alcohol server certificate (which can be obtained after hire).

Duties:

• Greet guests with a smile
• Assist with purchases
• Operate cash register and process payments
• Refer to guests by name when possible
• Thank guests and invite them back
• Strive for speed of service
• Answer phone calls
• Brew coffee and clean fountain area
• Stock grills and deli bar
• Build merchandise displays
• Restock coolers and freezers
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and sales area
• Perform outdoor cleanup and snow removal
• Attend team and safety meetings
• Report safety or security issues promptly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

• Stand for at least 4 hours
• Lift/move items up to 25 pounds regularly
• Occasionally lift/move items 25-65 pounds
