Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties, including floors, rugs, walls, glass and rubbish removal.
• Collects and disposes of trash following procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors; moves and replaces furniture for cleaning.
• Cleans surfaces; sanitizes and follows eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows and furniture; maintains safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpets.
