Job summary

ReNEW Schools in Indiana is seeking a facilities assistant to clean designated areas of the building, vacuum, wipe surfaces, and mop. The role includes setting up the school for daily activities and extracurriculars, and responding to emergency calls from staff.

The position involves basic maintenance work, following OSHA standards to ensure student and staff safety, and potential overtime at the principal's request. A high school diploma and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning and/or basic maintenance.
• Ability to perform manual tasks and be on feet for a long period.
• Ability to supervise and communicate well with a team of employees.
• Be able to pass a background check to work with youth.
