Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and wax floors.
• Machine shampoo carpeting.
• Clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, drinking fountains, light fixtures, window blinds, brass, and other interior fixtures.
• Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
• Sweep entryways, empty exterior cigarette urns, and trashcans outside building entrances.
• Clean restrooms, sinks, toilets, and replenish supplies.
• Change interior light bulbs reachable from a ladder.
• Complete work requests for repairs.
• Remove snow and ice, applying salt or ice-melting products as needed.
• Organize custodial closets.
• Move and set up furniture and equipment for special functions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Have a personal cell phone and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend at a suitable level.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups.
• Willingness to learn.
• Clear criminal background check.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Push, pull, stand, bend, kneel, and walk up to 8 hours daily.
• Climb ladders, scaffolds up to 6', and stairs.
• Use basic hand tools.
