Summary/Objective
The position of Full-Time Custodian is established to perform cleaning and sanitation of all public and non-public areas within the Spring Grove Funeral Home.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; squat; and reach with hands and arms. Required to lift up to 40 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time non-exempt position. Business days and hours of work are:
2nd week - Tuesday- Saturday 8:30am - 5pm
Travel
Local travel may be required for support within a 25-mile radius.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience
1. Minimum one-year office cleaning preferred.
2. Great Customer Service Skills,must display a calm attitude.
3. Needs listening skills, able to take direction. Able to work with people. Team Player.
4. Displays a “Customer First” attitude.
5. Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures
6. Ability to stand, walk or bend for many hours and ability to perform repetitive motion for long periods of time
7. Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures
8. Experience with using cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers and cleaning solutions
9. Reliable transportation required
10. Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules
