• Operate Imaging Equipment: Operate head or body x-ray scanners to create computed axial tomography (CAT) scans.
• Patient Preparation: Educate and prepare patients for their examinations.
• Patient Care: Provide essential patient care for various procedures.
• Medical History: Take patient medical histories before exams.
• Positioning Patients: Position patients to demonstrate desired anatomy.
• Technical Parameters: Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology accurately.
• Patient Safety: Ensure the safety, mental, and physical comfort of patients.
• Supervision: Work under the supervision of a board-certified radiologist while maintaining a high degree of independence and responsibility.
