  • Maintain monthly borrowing base certificates and verify covenant compliance.
  • Respond to credit inquiries and verifications for commercial customers.
  • Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act requirements.
  • Follow all applicable federal and state banking regulations.

GENERAL SUMMARY

Support commercial lending personnel by tracking financial statements of commercial loan customers and reviewing any outstanding items required. This role involves maintaining credit files, maintaining various tracking systems and spreadsheets, and helping ensure credit policies are followed to minimize financial risk while supporting business growth.

REPORTS TO: Credit Team Lead

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Request and track current financial statements and tax returns from our current customers
  • Prepare agenda and update various reports reviewed at each weekly Officer's Loan Committee. Record, type, and maintain minutes for each meeting
  • Perform Quality Control Checklists
  • Maintain complete and accurate electronic ‘credit files’ in Synergy and Metriciti
  • Maintain monthly borrowing base certificate spreadsheet, including reviewing borrowing base certificates provided by Borrower’s for accuracy
  • Verify covenant compliance and update tracking details
  • Respond to credit inquiries/verifications on commercial customers
  • Adhere to all compliance laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Be familiar with and comply with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act as they relate to the functions of this position. Complete all required reports related to those acts and report any observed violations or potential violations of those acts to a supervisor or other appropriate bank officer.
  • Be familiar with and comply with all federal and state banking regulations as applicable

QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma AND one (1) year of customer service in banking, financial services or goal driven retail sales
  • Bachelor's Degree in business-related major preferred

Requirements

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Ability to work in an office environment which may include many hours of computer and telephone u sage. Must be able to lift 25lbs. This position is remote-eligible on a part-time/hybrid basis with supervisor’s approval.
