Job summary

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for Autumn Lake at Patuxent River in Laurel, MD. The role focuses on implementing and adapting the plan of care to help residents gain independence in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland OT license and COTA certification.
• Ability to implement and observe plan of care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• New graduates welcome; SNF experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement the supervising OT's plan of care through purposeful activities.
• Help residents with dressing, bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Incorporate prescribed exercises for upper-extremity function and coordination.
• Reinforce adaptive equipment techniques and energy conservation.
• Document services and communicate progress to the OT.
• Collaborate with nursing and rehab staff during daily routines.
