Job summary

Care Pavilion Nursing & Rehab Center in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time role on our therapy team. You will provide occupational therapy under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, helping residents regain independence in daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active COTA license or be eligible.
• Experience in SNF/LTC preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and passion for resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of the Occupational Therapist
• Help residents improve independence with daily living skills such as dressing, grooming, mobility, and self-care
• Assist in implementing individualized therapy treatment plans
• Document therapy sessions and resident progress using Net Health
• Work closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident goals and outcomes
• Encourage residents through creative and functional therapy interventions
